DAILY ITINERARY

Arrival & Pro Team Welcome
From the moment you land in Mallorca, you’re treated like a pro. Our staff will be waiting at Palma airport to transfer you straight to the Velocamp villa — your private team base in Alaró, surrounded by mountains and built for performance and recovery.
Once you arrive, it’s time to settle in, meet the squad, and take your first breath of that clean Mallorcan air. The villa is your training HQ for the week — complete with outdoor pool, chef’s kitchen, massage zone, ice baths and bike setup area.
As the sun sets, your first team dinner is served by our private chef: clean, powerful fuel for the week ahead. You’ll meet your teammates, support crew, coaches and massage therapist — the people who’ll be by your side for every ride, every stretch, every climb.
After dinner, we get straight into pro mode. A full briefing sets the tone for the week, and our mechanics will dial in your bike and power meter while you get fitted for your custom Velocamp kit.
By the end of the night, you’re no longer a guest — you’re a rider in camp, part of the team, ready to train.

TEST DAY: FTP EFFORT
Your first full day of training kicks off with a pro-style breakfast from our chef — oats, fruit, protein pancakes, strong coffee — all timed and tailored to fuel what’s ahead.
We roll out from the villa as a team, wheels humming through the early light and narrow lanes of Alaró. It’s the kind of morning you dream of — smooth roads, crisp air, and big goals ahead.
After a steady 10km warm-up, the real work begins.
At the base of the Coll d’Orient, it’s time for your FTP test — a 20-minute, full-throttle effort that will set your Functional Threshold Power. This number is your benchmark for the week. It’s how we’ll calibrate your training zones, analyse your efforts, and measure your performance like the pros do.
You’ll be coached in real time through your earpiece, with full support from the team car as you climb. It’s all about control, commitment, and leaving nothing behind.
At the summit, we regroup and continue descending into Bunyola, crossing Palmanyola, and climbing into Esporles, Es Cap, and Coll d’en Claret, before rolling into the stunning mountain village of Valldemossa. One final, fast descent leads us back toward Alaró.
Your first ride day is complete with 80.7km and 1,172m of climbing, It’s one hell of a start.
Back at the villa: massage, refuel, data debrief. Let’s go.

COASTAL: THE ISLAND TRAVERSE
Today, we ride the island's wild west — a route that feels like a stage straight out of the Vuelta. We call it The Island Traverse, and it’s one of the most beautiful and demanding routes Mallorca has to offer.
After fuelling up, we head west from Alaró and warm into the day via Esporles, before linking into the legendary Ma-10 coastal road. From Banyalbufar to Andratx, it’s a rollercoaster of climbs, sweeping descents, and clifftop views that’ll stick with you for life. Freshly resurfaced with its sweeping corners, cliffside views, and rolling terrain, it’s one of the most exhilarating stretches of tarmac you'll ever ride.
From there, we climb to the peaceful village of Galilea, descend into Puigpunyent, and take on the sharp gradients of Es Grau — a gritty final test before the terrain finally eases. A long, winding descent into Palmanyola leads us into the flatlands for a fast group roll back to Alaró.
With over 115km of riding and 1824m of relentless elevation, it’s a day that demands focus and rewards every pedal stroke.
Back at base, it's recovery time — massage, ice, stretching, food, and a coaching debrief. You’ve just ridden one of Mallorca’s true classics — and you owned it.

RECOVERY: INLAND FLATS
Even the pros take a recovery day — and today, so do you.
After two big days in the mountains, it’s time to let the body absorb the work. This morning’s ride is short, smooth, and beautiful. We roll out at an easy pace and loop through some of the island’s most stunning inland villages — places most tourists never get to see. Think sleepy cafés, cobbled streets, and quiet country roads with views of the Tramuntana in the distance.
This is an active recovery ride with a purpose: keep the legs spinning, flush out fatigue, and give your system a reset before we hit the final block of training.
Back at the villa, the pro recovery process kicks in: massage, compression, good food, and plenty of chill time. We’ll also run a nutrition and recovery workshop, giving you real tools and insight you can take home and apply to your own training life.
With just 537m of elevation over 70km, it's a welcome rest day, but today is all about stepping back to move forward. Your body needs it, your legs will thank you — and come tomorrow, you’ll be ready to go again. Because recovery isn’t a break from training. It’s part of it.

CLIMBING: MOUNTAIN VILLAGES
Today’s ride is a postcard come to life — a route that winds through Mallorca’s most beautiful coastal mountain towns, with world-class roads and unforgettable views from start to finish.
We roll out of Alaró and head toward Bunyola, warming up through quiet country lanes before hitting the legendary Coll de Sóller. With over 5km of iconic switch backs and hairpins, now is the time to push hard on the pedals as the team chase each other up and over the crest! Full of adrenaline and lactate here but you can feel the difference in your legs, your pacing, and your confidence. This is what progression feels like.
From the top, we enjoy a 10km decent before we track west into the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana, climbing steadily toward the picture-perfect village of Deià — often called the prettiest village in Spain. Terraced hillsides, sea views, stone houses — it’s a cycling paradise.
The road continues to Valldemossa, a dramatic mountain town perched high in the hills, before tipping downward into a long, thrilling descent through Palmanyola. The final stretch takes us through rolling village lanes, all the way back to Alaró.
With punchy climbs, sweeping views, and perfect tarmac traversing more than 1250m over an action-packed 80km, this is one of the most rewarding rides of the week.
Back at the villa: bikes cleaned, kits washed, legs up — and dinner already cooking. Just another day in the pro-life.

The Icon: Sa Calobra
Today is about ticking off a true icon — Sa Calobra, the climb that defines cycling in Mallorca and stands among the most legendary roads in Europe.
We roll out early from Alaró to stay ahead of the high-season traffic, riding north through peaceful lanes before arriving at the famous Coll de sa Batalla climb where it’s over 20 switchbacks will definately warm up the legs for what's to come. From there, we pass through the pine-lined valley of Lluc before reaching the crown jewel — the descent into Sa Calobra.
It’s 9.5km of hairpins, carved into the cliffs, dropping to sea level in a ribbon of perfect tarmac. Our photographer will be waiting on the descent, capturing epic, high-speed shots of you carving corners like a Grand Tour pro.
At the bottom, it’s time for our Climb Out Challenge — a timed ascent back up Sa Calobra with staggered starts based on FTP and form so far. It’s all about pacing, grit, and personal pride. Bragging rights are up for grabs.
Once we regroup at the summit, we spin home together, tired, buzzing, and full of stories.
With over 2000m and another 100km in the bank, it feels good to be back at the villa! massage, food, rest. You just conquered Sa Calobra — and we’ve got the photos to prove it!

ROAD TO THE SUN: CAP DE FORMENTOR
Our final ride takes us to the edge of Mallorca — the stunning Cap de Formentor, where the mountains meet the sea and the road simply runs out.
We roll north from Alaró, riding through the coast-hugging curves past Port de Pollença. As we climb toward the lighthouse, the views explode — endless blue, dramatic cliffs, and the feeling of something special coming to a close. When the lighthouse comes into view, it’s more than a destination — it’s a moment.
At the top, your Velocamp support van is waiting with cold drinks, some pro-level goodies all prepared by our chef and some celebratory non-alcoholic champagne to toast the journey we’ve all shared.
Then comes the highlight: the presentation of the Velocamp Rider of the Week award, honouring the rider who’s shown true heart, effort, and growth. In this setting, with the week behind you, it hits deeper than you expect.
We have banked our final 80km and 1150m together before descending to Pollença, where the van brings us back to the villa — time to rest, reflect, and breathe.
That evening, we gather for one final celebration at a beautiful local agroturismo winery — amazing food, flowing wine, and stories shared like only teammates can.
The riding may be over, but something real has started — a week, a team, a memory that stays with you long after the legs recover.

The Ride Home
No one ever wants this part to come, but here we are, bags packed, kits folded, bikes boxed, and a week we’ll never forget behind us.
This morning is about winding down and saying goodbye to your teammates, but like everything at Velocamp, we’ve got it covered. We’ll help you collect your gear, return pedals and saddles if needed, and double-check everything’s prepped for travel. Nothing rushed. No stress.
Then it's into the van for one final team transfer to Palma Airport. Some sleepy smiles, a few hugs, and plenty of talk about “next time”
It’s hard to put this week into words. You came here as a cyclist — maybe solo, maybe unsure, maybe looking for something bigger. You leave with stronger legs, sharper skills, and a new crew that feels like family. We trained hard, climbed high, descended fast, laughed loud, and lived the pro life together.
Thank you for being part of this.
The riding may be done, but the journey doesn’t end here. Mallorca’s still waiting — and so are we.
See you on the road.

Your Home Base: The Velocamp Villa in Alaró
Nestled in the foothills of Mallorca’s majestic Serra de Tramuntana, our private seven-bedroom luxury villa in Alaró is much more than just a place to stay — it’s the heartbeat of the Velocamp experience. With a large outdoor pool, multiple sun-drenched terraces offering panoramic mountain views, and fig and olive trees scattered throughout the garden, it’s the perfect sanctuary for rest, recovery, and connection after big days in the saddle.
What makes Alaró — and our base camp — truly special isn’t just its beauty; it’s the location. While 99% of cycling tour operators are based far up north in Pollença or Alcúdia, we chose Alaró because it offers something unique: complete access to the entire island. From here, our epic itinerary covers all the most iconic routes — from Cap de Formentor to Andratx and everything in between — without transfers or repetitive loops. Legendary climbs like Coll de Sóller, Coll d’Honor, Coll de sa Batalla, and the iconic Sa Calobra all begin from our doorstep.
And then there’s Alaró itself — a timeless, authentic village that reflects the real Mallorca. Think cobbled lanes, rustic stone buildings, artisan cafés, and a sleepy village square where locals still gather every Saturday for the bustling market. It’s quiet, welcoming, and untouched by mass tourism — a place where you can truly slow down and soak up local culture.
After each ride, you’ll return to a space that blends traditional Mallorcan architecture with modern comforts. The villa is big enough for space and privacy, yet intimate enough to feel like home. Riders will share a spacious twin room with a teammate to enhance the communal camp atmosphere, with single occupancy available for those who prefer a little extra solitude. Whether you’re stretching under the orange trees, sharing recovery shakes by the pool, or relaxing on the terrace with views over the Tramuntana, this is where recovery becomes a ritual — and community happens naturally.
This isn’t just a base — it’s your home for the week. A place to ride hard, rest deeply, and experience Mallorca the way it was meant to be.

Fuel Like a Pro: Nutrition at Velocamp
At Velocamp, nutrition plays a crucial supporting role in helping riders perform, recover, and feel their best throughout the week. Fuelled by our private in-house chef, our camp riders enjoy performance-focused meals designed to support recovery, optimise energy, and bring everyone together around the table like a true cycling team.
Each day begins with a sit-down breakfast buffet that rivals any pro camp — think oatmeal pancakes, fresh pastries, oats, tropical fruit, protein-rich smoothies, kombuchas, and expertly brewed coffee. But more importantly, this is where the fuelling starts. We don’t do bacon sandwiches. We eat like athletes. Expect a mix of cereals, porridge, quinoa, pancakes, bread, and even rice or pasta for those who want easily digestible, carb-rich energy. Many riders choose steamed rice at breakfast — a staple for endurance athletes — to stock up on clean fuel for the day’s effort. It’s a quiet, communal moment before we roll out — relaxed, dialled-in, and well-fuelled.
Post-ride, the villa welcomes you back with freshly prepared recovery smoothies, cooling kombuchas, and a chef-cooked lunch packed with protein and slow-release carbs. Dishes rotate daily and may include lean meats, high-quality pasta, rice bowls, fresh vegetables, and everything your body needs to stay strong across six days of riding. All dietary needs and intolerances can be catered for — no one’s left out at the Velocamp table.
Evenings are lighter but no less nourishing: think beautifully balanced meals designed to promote deep sleep and quality recovery, served with a non-alcoholic beer or wine if required for those who want the ritual, minus the compromise. Alcohol isn’t part of this camp — recovery is.
All meals are shared around a long table, reinforcing the team bond and giving riders a chance to connect, debrief, and recharge — together.
From start to finish, every bite is designed to help you ride harder, recover faster, and feel your best. This isn’t hotel buffet cycling. This is pro-level fueling, Velocamp style.
Riding Together, Pushing Individually: How We Manage Varying Levels
At Velocamp, we understand that not every rider has the same legs — but every rider shares the same goal: to push themselves, improve, and leave stronger than they arrived. While our camps aren’t designed for elite or professional cyclists, they are built for passionate, recreational riders who are consistent, committed, and ready to give their all.
To help ensure everyone gets the most from the experience, our messaging across the website and social media clearly reflects what Velocamp is — and what it isn’t. This is not a casual cycling holiday. It’s a focused, immersive training camp. This means we’re not the right fit for those looking to ride a little, relax a lot, skip a day here or there, or explore Mallorca’s restaurant scene and nightlife midweek. That’s simply not what we do.
Instead, we ride every day as a team, we recover with intention, and we keep a consistent rhythm all week long. Before booking, we speak personally with each rider to ensure they understand the structure, expectations, and team mindset. When everyone arrives with the same focus, the energy is incredible — a proper crew of riders all in it together, pushing forward and lifting each other up.
We recommend that riders train regularly (ideally 3+ times per week) and are comfortable sustaining an average of 2.5–3.0 watts/kg. You don’t need to be fast — but you do need to be serious about showing up, committing to the process, and getting the most from each day.
On the road, we ride as a group, but each rider is encouraged to climb at their own pace. Stronger riders often reach the top first — and when they do, they’ll loop back down, rejoin the group, and climb again. It’s a common approach in pro training environments that ensures stronger riders are continually challenged, while keeping the group connected and progressing together.
If any rider is noticeably off the pace, the Velocamp team and support vehicle will work closely with them — whether that means providing encouragement from the road, adjusting the day’s plan, or assisting from the van — to ensure no one is left behind and no one’s progress is compromised.
We’ve built a dynamic that’s inclusive, motivating, and genuinely rewarding. This isn’t about ego. It’s about effort, discipline, and mutual respect. Whether you’re leading a climb, pacing the group, or putting in double efforts, every rider contributes, and every rider benefits.
At Velocamp, we ride together, push individually, and support one another every pedal stroke of the way — all with a shared mindset and a common goal.

Your Rolling Team Car: Support That Moves With You
At Velocamp Mallorca, you’ll never ride alone — because every kilometre of every ride is supported by our dedicated Velocamp team vehicle, following the group just like you’d see in the pro peloton.
This isn’t just a van with tools in the back — it’s a game-changer for how you train. Instead of stuffing your jersey with food, spare clothing, tools, and tubes, you can hand it all over to the support vehicle. No saddlebag. No bulging pockets. No carrying the weight of a mini workshop on your back. Just you, your bike, and the open road — free to ride faster, climb lighter, and focus on your training.
Inside the support car is everything you might need: spare wheels, tools, inner tubes, hydration tabs, snacks, fresh fruit, cold drinks — and most importantly, a daily selection of chef-prepared wraps, made fresh each morning by our in-house chef. When it’s time to refuel mid-ride, we’ll find a shady spot, stop, and recharge with real food — not just gels — giving your body exactly what it needs to keep going strong.
If you puncture? We’ve got it covered. Mechanical issue? We’ll sort it roadside. Feeling empty halfway through the ride? We’ve already got your next bottle chilled and ready. Should anything unexpected happen — a niggle, a crash, or a call-it-early moment — the support vehicle is there, ready to help, calmly and quickly.
But the support vehicle isn’t just practical — it’s part of the Velocamp experience. Each rider is issued an earpiece and radio, and throughout the ride you’ll receive live coaching and route updates straight from the team car. Whether it’s pacing advice on a climb, gearing tips, or encouragement as you dig deep, it’s all part of the ride. It’s pro-level training, made personal.
And yes — you’ll feel like a pro, because the photographer will be capturing those magic moments as they unfold: you powering up Coll de Sóller, winding through mountain switchbacks, or recovering with a group smile under the shade of the support van. At the end of the week, you’ll go home with a full gallery of professional photos and videos to remember the experience.
For one week, you get to leave behind the noise of everyday life — the to-do lists, the supermarket runs, the inbox — and live the life of a cyclist in training camp mode. No distractions. No stress. Just you, the bike, the team, and the dream.
This is your pro experience. This is Velocamp.
Arrival in Style: Airport Transfers & VIP Welcome
At Velocamp Mallorca, the pro-level experience doesn’t start on the bike — it starts the moment you land.
When you book onto a camp with us, airport transfers are included as part of the package. That means no waiting for crowded buses, no wrestling with bike bags in a taxi queue, and no navigating foreign transport systems while jet-lagged. From the minute you walk out of Palma airport, we’ve got you covered.
Your private transfer will take you directly from the terminal to our villa in Alaró in comfort — no coaches, no delays, no stress. Just you, your bags, and a quiet drive into the Tramuntana foothills. Because let’s be honest… you wouldn’t expect Wout van Aert to wait at a bus stop with his kit bag when he arrives for the Tour, would you?
This is your pro camp week, and we treat it like one.
We’re also more than happy to advise on the best flights to get you here. Mallorca is incredibly accessible — whether you're flying from the UK, mainland Europe, or the United States. For our American riders, great news: direct flights are now available from Newark, New Jersey straight into Palma, making the journey smoother than ever for anyone flying from the East Coast.
And if you're connecting through Europe, it’s just a short hop from Barcelona, Madrid, London, or Frankfurt to Mallorca’s international airport. Easy access is one of the many reasons why Mallorca is the cycling capital of Europe — and getting here is simpler than most people expect.
So wherever you're coming from, you’ll arrive feeling calm, cared for, and ready to train — not drained from a stressful journey.
Your Velocamp experience starts the moment you land.

Recover Like a Pro: The Other Half of the Ride
Yes — Velocamp is a challenge. Yes — you’ll ride hard.
But what truly separates a good week on the bike from a great one is how well you recover.
At Velocamp Mallorca, every ride is wrapped up by around 1 p.m., giving you the rest of the day to rest, reset, and prepare for what’s ahead. Recovery isn’t something we squeeze in — it’s part of the rhythm. Just like the pros, we ride with purpose and we recover with intention.
Back at the villa, the afternoons are yours. Riders often find themselves stretched out by the pool, soaking up the sun, recounting the climbs of the morning, and enjoying the easy, natural camaraderie that forms when people push themselves together. That community spirit — the laughter, the chats, the shared effort — is part of recovery too. It’s mentally recharging, and just as important as any routine or treatment.
For those looking to go a little deeper, recovery can also mean slipping into an ice bath to reduce inflammation, or receiving a 20-minute leg massage from a professionally trained sports massage therapist. These are available for every rider after each ride — not a luxury, but a tool to keep your body working as it should.
There are also optional stretching clinics held at the villa, led with the goal of increasing flexibility and reducing tension, so you wake up each day feeling better than the last. At some point during the week, we’ll also offer a light yoga, Pilates, or meditation session — no pressure to join, but it might just surprise you how much you enjoy it.
Whether you’re actively recovering or simply unwinding in the shade with your teammates, every part of the Velocamp experience is designed to help you feel stronger, looser, and more comfortable on the bike — so you can show up each day and give it everything.
At Velocamp, recovery isn’t an afterthought. It’s part of the plan.
