How do I book my place on a Velocamp?

It’s really simple. Just head to our Camps page, choose the week that works for you, and click the “Pay Deposit with Stripe” button. You’ll be taken to our secure booking form where you can lock in your spot with a deposit.

If you have any questions before booking — or if you're part of a group or cycling club — just drop us a message through the website or email us directly at info@velocampmallorca.com. We’ll get straight back to you and walk you through everything.

No fuss. No stress. Just one step closer to the best week of riding you’ve ever had.

What’s not included?

Flights, travel insurance, and anything you personally decide to buy outside the camp.

Do I need to bring my own towels?

No need. All bath towels and pool towels are provided for you during your stay.

Do I need to pay a deposit?

Yes, a €300 deposit locks in your spot. It’s non-refundable, but it guarantees your place on the team.

Can I cancel or change my booking?

Life happens, we get it. Cancel more than two months out and you’ll just forfeit your deposit. Less than that? We’ll try our best to fill your spot and refund you (minus admin costs). If we can’t, we can’t refund, but we’ll still do our best.

Will I have any free time during the camp to explore Mallorca?

Velocamp is a training camp, not a cycling holiday. Our focus is on structured riding, teamwork, and improving your performance on the bike. That said, there’s always some downtime between the daily rides and evening coaching sessions when you can relax, explore the nearby village of Alaró, or take a short trip into Palma, about 20 minutes away.

If you choose to take a rest day, that’s completely up to you, but we encourage riders to complete the full six-day program together as a team. A detailed daily schedule at the villa shows all rides, massage, meals, and coaching times so you can plan your afternoons and evenings accordingly.

When is the full payment due?

The full balance is due two months before camp starts. If you book last-minute, we’ll ask for the full amount upfront.

What’s included in the price?

Loads: airport transfers, the villa, chef-cooked meals, six incredible rides, carbon bike rental, coaching, massages, recovery tools, cycling kit, and all the bars and gels you’ll need on the road.

Can I come alone?

Absolutely! A lot of our riders show up solo. You’ll leave with a bunch of new friends and riding buddies.

Do I need to be part of a club to join?

Not at all. Most of our guests come solo. This camp is about the love of the ride and the people you meet along the way.

Riding & Fitness

How fit do I need to be?

You should be able to handle 90–120 km per day with some climbing. If you ride 3–4 times a week and love a challenge, you’ll fit right in.

What kind of terrain is it?

A glorious mix: mountains, rolling countryside, some flat sections, and views for days.

How far will we ride each day?

Anywhere from 80 to 120 km. Every ride is fully supported and planned to challenge you—without breaking you.

What if I can’t keep up?

You’ll never be left behind. We ride as a team. Stronger riders might get bonus efforts or drills to stay challenged while everyone else regroups

Will I get dropped on climbs?

Nope. We all climb at our own pace and meet at the top. And trust us, the vibe and support will help you go further than you think.

Are there any rest days?

We build in lighter days, like a café ride mid-week. Plus, afternoons are free for stretching, naps, or pool hangs.

What happens if I get a flat or mechanical issue?

Our support van is always close by with tools, parts, and a friendly mechanic. No stress, no spares in your jersey pockets.

What if I crash or get hurt?

Safety is our top priority. Our van has first aid gear and we’re never far from emergency services. But with good group riding habits, issues are rare.

I’m travelling to Spain from the USA — what kind of adaptor will I need?

Spain uses Type C and Type F plug sockets with a 230V supply and 50Hz frequency. You’ll need a European two-pin adaptor (sometimes called a Europlug) to charge your devices. Most modern electronics, like phones and laptops, automatically adjust to the voltage, but it’s always best to check your charger labels before you travel.

What time should I plan to arrive and depart?

On arrival day, please aim to land by 6pm at the latest so you don’t miss the welcome briefing and first team dinner. For departure day, flights between 9am and 2pm work best. If your flight times fall outside of these windows, just let us know and we’ll do our best to accommodate.

When should I book my return flight?

Midday or early afternoon works great—enough time to enjoy breakfast, say goodbye, and head out.

Will you handle my luggage?

Of course. We’ve got space in the van and we’ll handle the load-in and out.

Yes. All guests must have travel, medical, and accident insurance that covers road cycling activities in Spain, including any damage, loss, or theft of the bicycles provided during the camp.If your policy doesn’t specifically cover bike damage, we can arrange additional coverage for you for €35.
