ABOUT US

We established Velocamp Mallorca with a clear mission: to give everyday recreational cyclists a week that feels like they’ve stepped inside the pro peloton, with zero stress and all the support.

Based out of our stunning 7-bedroom Mallorquin villa with a pool in Alaró, the best cycling base on the island, our camp is designed around one thing: pure cycling immersion. From the doorstep, you will access the full sweep of Mallorca’s world-class roads, from the soaring switchbacks of Sa Calobra to the sunkissed coastline of Deià.

Every detail has been carefully thought out so that all you have to do is show up and ride. We take care of everything, airport transfers, full carbon road bikes with electronic gears and power meters, daily massages, chef-prepared meals, pro-level coaching, route guidance and support, kit laundry, and even your gels and suncreams!

Our training weeks are capped at just 11 riders, creating an intimate, team-like atmosphere. You’ll share our exclusive team villa, ride as a unit, recover together, and form friendships that last far beyond the final climb.

Each day includes a pre-ride briefing, individual coaching goals, and structured training led by expert guides. A support vehicle follows every ride with food, hydration, spares, and encouragement. Post-ride, recovery is king, with massages, stretching clinics, chef-crafted nutrition, and even a performance led stretching clinic when needed.

Whether you come solo or with friends, we remove the guesswork, isolation, risks, and complicated logistics that often come with cycling abroad. This is your pro week, just without the contracts or pressure!

Meet Alex

Velocamp Founder

I’m Alex, originally from the UK, and I’ve called Mallorca home since 2017. Like many people, I came here for the lifestyle, but it’s the mountains, the roads, and the pure joy of riding through nature that truly changed my life.

It was here, on the quiet backroads and epic climbs of the Tramuntana mountains, that I discovered my love for road cycling. What started as a way to stay fit quickly became a passion, and that passion grew into a dream: to build a place where others could experience the same magic of riding here that I did.

Velocamp is that dream come to life. It combines everything I love: performance, community, nature, and the rhythm of a week dedicated to nothing but the bike. I created this camp for riders like you, who want to feel stronger, ride smarter, and fall in love with cycling all over again.

Karina Carlson

Velocamp Chef

Karina is originally from São Paulo, Brazil, and food has always been her way of connecting with people. Her journey as a chef has taken her around the world—from private homes to yachts—always with the same mission: to create meals that bring people together.

Since moving to Mallorca, Karina has fallen in love with the island’s vibrant ingredients and the Mediterranean way of life. At Velocamp, she gets to combine two passions: nourishing others and being part of a community built on energy, balance, and passion.

At the villa, she prepares every meal with care—wholesome, flavorful dishes designed to fuel each ride and to be shared at the table. Her cooking draws on fresh, local produce and blends Mediterranean, Latin American, and international influences. The result is food that’s colorful, comforting, and made to be enjoyed together.

For Karina, food is never just fuel—it’s recovery, pleasure, and the heart of every shared experience.
