Arrival & Pro Team Welcome
From the moment you land in Mallorca, you’re treated like a pro. Our staff will be waiting at Palma airport to transfer you straight to the Velocamp villa — your private team base in Alaró, surrounded by mountains and built for performance and recovery.
Once you arrive, it’s time to settle in, meet the squad, and take your first breath of that clean Mallorcan air. The villa is your training HQ for the week — complete with outdoor pool, chef’s kitchen, massage zone, ice baths and bike setup area.
As the sun sets, your first team dinner is served by our private chef: clean, powerful fuel for the week ahead. You’ll meet your teammates, support crew, coaches and massage therapist — the people who’ll be by your side for every ride, every stretch, every climb.
After dinner, we get straight into pro mode. A full briefing sets the tone for the week, and our mechanics will dial in your bike and power meter while you get fitted for your custom Velocamp kit.
By the end of the night, you’re no longer a guest — you’re a rider in camp, part of the team, ready to train.

TEST DAY: FTP EFFORT
Your first full day of training kicks off with a pro-style breakfast from our chef — oats, fruit, protein pancakes, strong coffee — all timed and tailored to fuel what’s ahead.
We roll out from the villa as a team, wheels humming through the early light and narrow lanes of Alaró. It’s the kind of morning you dream of — smooth roads, crisp air, and big goals ahead.
After a steady 10km warm-up, the real work begins.
At the base of the Coll d’Orient, it’s time for your FTP test — a 20-minute, full-throttle effort that will set your Functional Threshold Power. This number is your benchmark for the week. It’s how we’ll calibrate your training zones, analyse your efforts, and measure your performance like the pros do.
You’ll be coached in real time through your earpiece, with full support from the team car as you climb. It’s all about control, commitment, and leaving nothing behind.
At the summit, we regroup and continue descending into Bunyola, crossing Palmanyola, and climbing into Esporles, Es Cap, and Coll d’en Claret, before rolling into the stunning mountain village of Valldemossa. One final, fast descent leads us back toward Alaró.
Your first ride day is complete with 80.7km and 1,172m of climbing, It’s one hell of a start.
Back at the villa: massage, refuel, data debrief. Let’s go.

COASTAL: THE ISLAND TRAVERSE
Today, we ride the island's wild west — a route that feels like a stage straight out of the Vuelta. We call it The Island Traverse, and it’s one of the most beautiful and demanding routes Mallorca has to offer.
After fuelling up, we head west from Alaró and warm into the day via Esporles, before linking into the legendary Ma-10 coastal road. From Banyalbufar to Andratx, it’s a rollercoaster of climbs, sweeping descents, and clifftop views that’ll stick with you for life. Freshly resurfaced with its sweeping corners, cliffside views, and rolling terrain, it’s one of the most exhilarating stretches of tarmac you'll ever ride.
From there, we climb to the peaceful village of Galilea, descend into Puigpunyent, and take on the sharp gradients of Es Grau — a gritty final test before the terrain finally eases. A long, winding descent into Palmanyola leads us into the flatlands for a fast group roll back to Alaró.
With over 115km of riding and 1824m of relentless elevation, it’s a day that demands focus and rewards every pedal stroke.
Back at base, it's recovery time — massage, ice, stretching, food, and a coaching debrief. You’ve just ridden one of Mallorca’s true classics — and you owned it.

RECOVERY: INLAND FLATS
Even the pros take a recovery day — and today, so do you.
After two big days in the mountains, it’s time to let the body absorb the work. This morning’s ride is short, smooth, and beautiful. We roll out at an easy pace and loop through some of the island’s most stunning inland villages — places most tourists never get to see. Think sleepy cafés, cobbled streets, and quiet country roads with views of the Tramuntana in the distance.
This is an active recovery ride with a purpose: keep the legs spinning, flush out fatigue, and give your system a reset before we hit the final block of training.
Back at the villa, the pro recovery process kicks in: massage, compression, good food, and plenty of chill time. We’ll also run a nutrition and recovery workshop, giving you real tools and insight you can take home and apply to your own training life.
With just 537m of elevation over 70km, it's a welcome rest day, but today is all about stepping back to move forward. Your body needs it, your legs will thank you — and come tomorrow, you’ll be ready to go again. Because recovery isn’t a break from training. It’s part of it.

CLIMBING: MOUNTAIN VILLAGES
Today’s ride is a postcard come to life — a route that winds through Mallorca’s most beautiful coastal mountain towns, with world-class roads and unforgettable views from start to finish.
We roll out of Alaró and head toward Bunyola, warming up through quiet country lanes before hitting the legendary Coll de Sóller. With over 5km of iconic switch backs and hairpins, now is the time to push hard on the pedals as the team chase each other up and over the crest! Full of adrenaline and lactate here but you can feel the difference in your legs, your pacing, and your confidence. This is what progression feels like.
From the top, we enjoy a 10km decent before we track west into the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana, climbing steadily toward the picture-perfect village of Deià — often called the prettiest village in Spain. Terraced hillsides, sea views, stone houses — it’s a cycling paradise.
The road continues to Valldemossa, a dramatic mountain town perched high in the hills, before tipping downward into a long, thrilling descent through Palmanyola. The final stretch takes us through rolling village lanes, all the way back to Alaró.
With punchy climbs, sweeping views, and perfect tarmac traversing more than 1250m over an action-packed 80km, this is one of the most rewarding rides of the week.
Back at the villa: bikes cleaned, kits washed, legs up — and dinner already cooking. Just another day in the pro-life.

The Icon: Sa Calobra
Today is about ticking off a true icon — Sa Calobra, the climb that defines cycling in Mallorca and stands among the most legendary roads in Europe.
We roll out early from Alaró to stay ahead of the high-season traffic, riding north through peaceful lanes before arriving at the famous Coll de sa Batalla climb where it’s over 20 switchbacks will definately warm up the legs for what's to come. From there, we pass through the pine-lined valley of Lluc before reaching the crown jewel — the descent into Sa Calobra.
It’s 9.5km of hairpins, carved into the cliffs, dropping to sea level in a ribbon of perfect tarmac. Our photographer will be waiting on the descent, capturing epic, high-speed shots of you carving corners like a Grand Tour pro.
At the bottom, it’s time for our Climb Out Challenge — a timed ascent back up Sa Calobra with staggered starts based on FTP and form so far. It’s all about pacing, grit, and personal pride. Bragging rights are up for grabs.
Once we regroup at the summit, we spin home together, tired, buzzing, and full of stories.
With over 2000m and another 100km in the bank, it feels good to be back at the villa! massage, food, rest. You just conquered Sa Calobra — and we’ve got the photos to prove it!

ROAD TO THE SUN: CAP DE FORMENTOR
Our final ride takes us to the edge of Mallorca — the stunning Cap de Formentor, where the mountains meet the sea and the road simply runs out.
We roll north from Alaró, riding through the coast-hugging curves past Port de Pollença. As we climb toward the lighthouse, the views explode — endless blue, dramatic cliffs, and the feeling of something special coming to a close. When the lighthouse comes into view, it’s more than a destination — it’s a moment.
At the top, your Velocamp support van is waiting with cold drinks, some pro-level goodies all prepared by our chef and some celebratory non-alcoholic champagne to toast the journey we’ve all shared.
Then comes the highlight: the presentation of the Velocamp Rider of the Week award, honouring the rider who’s shown true heart, effort, and growth. In this setting, with the week behind you, it hits deeper than you expect.
We have banked our final 80km and 1150m together before descending to Pollença, where the van brings us back to the villa — time to rest, reflect, and breathe.
That evening, we gather for one final celebration at a beautiful local agroturismo winery — amazing food, flowing wine, and stories shared like only teammates can.
The riding may be over, but something real has started — a week, a team, a memory that stays with you long after the legs recover.

The Ride Home
No one ever wants this part to come, but here we are, bags packed, kits folded, bikes boxed, and a week we’ll never forget behind us.
This morning is about winding down and saying goodbye to your teammates, but like everything at Velocamp, we’ve got it covered. We’ll help you collect your gear, return pedals and saddles if needed, and double-check everything’s prepped for travel. Nothing rushed. No stress.
Then it's into the van for one final team transfer to Palma Airport. Some sleepy smiles, a few hugs, and plenty of talk about “next time”
It’s hard to put this week into words. You came here as a cyclist — maybe solo, maybe unsure, maybe looking for something bigger. You leave with stronger legs, sharper skills, and a new crew that feels like family. We trained hard, climbed high, descended fast, laughed loud, and lived the pro life together.
Thank you for being part of this.
The riding may be done, but the journey doesn’t end here. Mallorca’s still waiting — and so are we.
See you on the road.
